I did not have that experience with other contractors who came by for estimates. The lead time I was quoted was accurate—my expectations were well managed. I felt like the price was competitive considering the quality of the product and speaking with other folks I know who’ve gotten doors and windows this year (and my experience with other contractors). The admin folks took care of required city permits and scheduling the inspection. Nine windows were installed by mid-afternoon; they removed and replaced each window one by one so that the house was not open to the cold any more than necessary. All in all, we’re very happy. The windows are good quality, and the experience was good from start to finish.
